This page explains in plain language what we collect, why, and what you can do with your data. No unnecessary legalese.

Who we are

Douglas Chaves Fotografia (from here on, "we"), responsible for the site douglaschaves.com and the products sold from it, including the Preset Lab.

What we collect

• When you purchase: your email (to deliver the product), your name (optional, if you fill it in at checkout), and payment data — the last go directly to Stripe; we never see your card number.
• When you browse: anonymous usage data via cookies (Meta Pixel + UTM tracking) — which pages you visit, where you came from, what you clicked. No personal identification by default.
• When you write to us: your email and the message content, to reply.

What we use it for

• Deliver the product you bought (download link via email).
• Support: answer questions and process refunds.
• Improve the page: understand what works and what doesn't, via traffic metrics.
• Show more relevant ads to people who visited the page (via Meta Pixel — Facebook and Instagram).
• Send email with Preset Lab news — only if you bought. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share data with

Data leaves our side to three services essential to operation:

• Stripe (payment processor, their policy) — receives payment data and returns your email to us.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — receives anonymous browsing signals via Pixel to optimize ads.
• Resend / email provider — used to send delivery and support emails.

Nothing beyond those three. We don't sell your data to third parties.

Cookies

We use cookies to:

• Remember where you came from (UTM parameters) — to attribute sales correctly.
• The Meta Pixel creates an anonymous identifier for your browser — used for retargeting ads.

You can disable cookies in your browser. Some page features may become less personalized.

Your rights (GDPR / LGPD)

Under GDPR (Europe), LGPD (Brazil), and similar laws, you have the right to:

• Know which data we have about you.
• Correct incorrect data.
• Request deletion of your data (we keep only the fiscal record of the purchase, required by law).
• Request export of your data in a readable format.
• Revoke consents (unsubscribe from emails, etc).

To exercise any of these, email support@douglaschaves.com. We respond within 7 business days.

Children

The Preset Lab is sold to adult professional and amateur photographers. We don't intentionally collect data from people under 18. If you're a legal guardian and discovered your underage child submitted data here, email us and we delete.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this page (not fixing a comma — but changing how we handle data), we notify at the top of the page and via email to those who purchased.
